There are many great video editing solutions for windows and mac. But I was looking for a video editor for Ubuntu, and I found this great and easy video editor.
It's called OpenShot. It is a free and open source solution for editing video on Linux.

This program supports many video , audio and image formats.
has Gnome integration
Clip resizing, trimming, and cutting
interface is easy to use
Video transitions.
Drag and drop timeline
Video encoding
and much more

OpenShot is a great video editor for Ubuntu and is available in different languages.
